What does a cleaner do?
Cleaning, laundry and ironing, and often more, like windows, ovens and fridges, or cooking. Each profile shows the skills they've ticked. Agree the details together before the first day.
Do I need to have cleaning products?
Most households do. Talk it through when you book, and show your cleaner what you use and where it's kept.
How much do cleaners cost in Hermanus?
Most households pay R300 to R400 for a full day of cleaning, about R350 on average. You agree the rate together and pay your cleaner directly. For regular work, paid leave, public holidays and UIF are part of it, arranged between you and your cleaner. What's fair to pay? →

How do you check cleaners?
We look at every helper ourselves before they're listed, and not everyone gets in. To be listed as a cleaner, they need a reference from someone who paid them to clean. What if our plans change?
It's free to cancel up to 24 hours before the booking starts, and your fee comes back as credit. If your cleaner cancels, your fee comes back as credit too.
