Should we meet before the first day?
Yes, it's a good idea, and you can arrange it directly once you've booked. Past employers have already confirmed the work, so you can skip the long round of interviews. Before day one guide →
What if it isn't working out?
Tell us within the first 2 weeks after regular work starts, and your whole fee comes back as credit. After that, WhatsApp us and we'll look at it together.
How much do nannies cost in Hermanus?
Most households pay R300 to R500 for a full day, or R7,000 to R10,500 a month for full-time, depending on experience. For regular work, paid leave, sick leave, public holidays and UIF are part of the deal, arranged between you and your nanny. What's fair to pay? →
Do nannies help with housework?
Our nannies are there for the children first. Light housework, like the children's laundry and tidying up after them, is often part of the job. Agree the details together.
How do you check nannies?
We look at every helper ourselves before they're listed, and not everyone gets in. Past employers confirm the dates, the work and whether they'd hire them again.
